Leg Day
Transforming Everyday Moments Into Cinematic Experiences
What might seem like a simple routine can be elevated into a cinematic journey. This project was filmed at 29fps and edited in 24fps to achieve a polished, cinematic aesthetic. Each shot was specifically storyboarded to captivate the audience and enhance engagement.
My objective was to move beyond the typical gym videos that flood the market. Instead, I focused on dynamic pacing, diverse shot compositions, and thoughtfully designed text fonts and animations to create a more immersive experience

What would be different?
Capturing an Icon?
The open scenery and dynamic angles provide space for creative camera work. For filming a celebrity or athlete, I’d use intimate close-ups and camera movements to draw the audience into their life or career. If it was perhaps a bodybuilder or powerlifter, a stationary, close-up camera would emphasise their heavy lifts, focusing on their training and strength.
Shooting for a Brand?
When shooting for a brand, I’d align with its font and colour palette, using subtle cutaway shots of the logo to reinforce recognition without overwhelming the screen. The product would be naturally integrated into the narrative, enhancing the workout and showcasing its value authentically.
