The focus of this video was the manipulate and explore the 9:16 aspect ratio used for social media videos, introducing split screens helped change visual interest and maximize the use of the frame but also tell the story from multiple perspectives. After colour correction, a custom grade was applied to achieve the desired look and mood. A storyboard of the sequence was shown to Ricardo beforehand to ensure his movements and desired shots were achieved.

Video individuality
Ricardo’s background as an ex-bodybuilder makes his back muscles a standout feature, so showcasing a "back day" in the gym was a deliberate choice to highlight one of his strongest physical assets.
The choice of camera shots, including close-ups and tracking shots, shows the intensity of the gym weights being lifted and moved by Ricardo. These dynamic shots help the viewers feel as though they are part of the movement and action. In contrast, stationary shots were used to let Ricardo's athleticism and technique take centre stage. By focusing on his form and fluidity (Seen on the rowing machine). These shots allowed the raw strength and his movements to shine. The combination of tracking and stationary angles created a balanced and visual narrative, showcasing Ricardo's skills while drawing the audience into the energy of his workout.
Bright yellow fonts were created as an energetic font but also chosen to blend with the colour palette and warm lighting featured in the video. The pacing and flow of the shots were worked on constantly in post-production. The movement in his footsteps helped maintain a consistent pace throughout (00:05). While editing, cutting to the beat of the track created slow and long pauses making the audience wait for the next cut, ultimately slowing the flow. Therefore, cutting to his movements in post worked well with pacing.
